About Us

 Hi, I'm Steve.  I grew up in a small town in Southern Oregon.  30 miles away, nestled between a mountain range and the scenic Rogue River was our family ranch. Our family roots had been on this land for generations, where family values were carved into our upbringing through country living and hard work.
Our family was blessed on having a riverfront property, where all the relatives came together and utilized the rivers potential for escaping the summers heat.  
My love for the water eventually gave way to trips to the beach, appreciating the warm sand and Ocean sunsets.
Over time, I found a love for both the country and the beach.  Both bring elements of peace and serenity.  They hold the same value and sense of community.  There is a saying, "Pura Vida", which means the Good Life in Costa Rica.  The good life that comes from purity and enjoyment from that moment in time, from the country to the beach.
I have since moved off the family ranch and reside in Southern California, close to the beach, but also on a small ranch.  I find myself between flip flops and boots, enjoying the "Good Life" life so many of my friends and family.
